  Joining the Nation

Tartupaluk stands for a unique set of progressive values, embodied in our
Constitution and Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which make Tartupalummiut nationals among the freest in the world. We are a self-determining nation that is as barrier-free as we can make it for newcomers.

Having your Tartupalummiut nationality recognized does not require permanent residency in Tartupaluk and does not require you to give up any other nationality you already possess; what it does is provide you with the protection of our Constitution and government wherever you travel. In addition, becoming a national is the first step toward Tartupalummiut citizenship and participation in our unique direct-democracy legislative system.

Best of all, Tartupalummiut nationality doesn't cost a thing. All that is required to become a recognized Tartupalummiut national is a willingness to stand and be counted as a supporter of the values embodied in our founding documents.

Simply download a Nationality Registration Form (Document D-GR-2007-3), fill it out, and mail it to us along with a copy of acceptable proof of identity.
