Welcome to the Office of the Prince

The Office of the Prince serves as secretariat to the Reigning Prince and assists him in his role as Head of State by providing political, operational, and administrative services as well as by supporting the Prince and the members of the Noble House in discharging their duties as described in the Tartupalungmi Constitution. The Office serves as the clearing house for petitions to the Prince sent by citizens under the provisions of Article 20 of the Constitution and produces certified translations of Government materials in accordance with the Law Establishing the Official Languages of the Principality.

In addition, the Office is authorized to exercise operational control over any Government department at the discretion of the Reigning Prince. At present, the Office is responsible for conducting the day-to-day operations of five such departments: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Information, the National Authority, the National Statistical Office, and the Office of the Greffier.
