Legislative Assembly of Tartupaluk

Tartupaluk is the world's only functioning modern direct democracy. Articles 18 and 32 of the Tartupalummit Constitution give every citizen of the Principality the inalienable rights to sit and to vote in the Legislative Assembly.

The Legislative Assembly of the Principality is one of the five principal branches of Government described in the Constitution. Its role is to act as a deliberative body, producing citizen-sponsored legislation and providing a means of political expression for the people of the Principality.
