Welcome to the Office of the
Prince
The
Office of the Prince serves as secretariat to the Reigning Prince
and assists him in his role as Head of State by providing
political, operational, and administrative services as
well as by supporting the Prince and the members of the
Noble House in discharging their duties as described in
the Tartupalungmi
Constitution. The Office serves as the
clearing house for petitions to the Prince sent by
citizens under the provisions of Article 20 of the
Constitution and produces certified translations of
Government materials in accordance with the Law
Establishing the Official Languages of the Principality.
In
addition, the
Office is authorized to exercise operational control over
any Government department at the discretion of the
Reigning Prince. At present, the Office is responsible for
conducting the day-to-day operations of five such
departments: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry
of Information, the National Authority, the National
Statistical Office, and the Office of the Greffier.
